Foundation course for school libraries

The foundation course for school libraries teaches the fundamentals of organisational and teaching management, design and development of a school library catering to
years 1 to 6.

Target audience

Teachers teaching years 1 to 6 and employees in public communal and school libraries.

Course length and dates

• 16 lessons (of 45 minutes each)
• The course takes place on two consecutive Saturdays from 09:15 - 16:45

Course fees

• CHF 180 for participants from the canton of Zurich
• CHF 270 for participants from other cantons

Course details and application process

If the number of applicants exceeds the places available, preference will be given to applicants from the canton of Zurich. The course management will decide whether or not to accept applicants once it has reviewed their applications. There is no waiting list.
