Conditions of participation, general terms and conditions
Admission to course and invoicing
If the number of applicants exceeds the places available, preference will be given to applicants from communal libraries in the canton of Zurich. The course management will decide whether or not to accept applicants once it has reviewed their applications in detail. Once accepted, participants will receive an invoice for the course fees.
Communes are recommended to make an appropriate contribution to the course fees.
Payment deadline
30 days after invoicing.
Deregistration
Those wishing to deregister from the course must do so in writing (by e-mail). Please note the following deregistration notice deadlines and rules:
Deregistration 30 days or more before the course begins:

free of charge, 100% of the course fee will be refunded

Deregistration 14 days to 30 days before the course begins:
|
the course fee will be refunded but the applicant will be invoiced CHF 100 to cover administrative expenses
|
Deregistration after the course begins or without notification:
|
no refund
|
If a participant leaves the course once it has begun, no refund will be given.
Undertaking by course organisers
The course organisers undertake normally to carry out the course as agreed.
On completion
Once they have successfully completed the course, participants will receive a certificate issued by the Zentralbibliothek Zürich. They must have attended at least 85% of the course and passed the learning objective tests.
Syllabus
Four weeks before the course begins, participants will receive the syllabus and timetable, a list of participants and further information about the course.
